A Korean BBQ-inspired beef bowl that's made with ground beef and so easy to make at home! Serve with rice and assorted sliced veggies.

Ingredients
1/3cupsoy sauce
1/3cuppacked brown sugar
1/4cupsliced green onion
1tablespoonsesame oil
3/4teaspooncrushed red pepper flakes
2teaspoonsgrated fresh ginger
3large garlic cloves,minced
1 1/2poundsground beef
For serving: prepared rice, thinly-sliced fresh veggiessee note
Directions
Whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, green onion, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, ginger, and garlic in a small bowl.Brown the beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat, breaking up as it cooks. Once no pink remains (about 5 minutes), drain excess fat and stir in the sauce. Cook for another 2 minutes, until beef is cooked through and sauce is simmering. Serve over rice with thinly sliced veggies.
Notes
Bell pepper, cucumber, carrot, pineapple, bean sprouts, radish, jalapeño, marinated kale, and broccoli all work well here!
